Vancouver photographer Dina Goldstein has put a modern and not so fairy tale twist on some of the most famous Disney princesses. "I began to imagine Disney's perfect princesses juxtaposed with real issues that were affecting women around me," Goldstein said, "such as illness, addiction and self-image issues." The photos are intense. There are 2 more to be shot for this series which is going on exhibit on Oct. 15, 2009.
