St Patty's Day

Dry bottle; wet brush

Hiking above the Hollywood sign

My friend Gregory Michael took Alexis and I hiking above the Hollywood sign. Why I have been sticking to Runyon Canyon, I'll never know. Instead of tripping over dogs and weaving in and out of people on an over-crowded path, this hike possesses a serene walk with little traffic. You might pass a horse tour or two on the first portion, which may come with a little poop, but it's way nicer than anything Runyon has to offer. What a gorgeous and lengthy hike!

Deep gray V-necks encouraged...

Dare to venture east of Vine...

Enter through an obscure door and into a time machine at La Descarga, a trendy yet under the radar rum bar/speak easy on Western. Upon entry you step through a wardrobe (yes...amazing right?) and glimpse across the dark room and head down a spiral staircase into a land of Latin burlesque alongside a cigar room and bar full of people you swear you've never seen before. Here are a few photos from our first experience, in March earlier this year. Yes, I'm a little behind on blogging. So shoot me.

Ali's Birthday

Stripper Extraordinaire

To celebrate my friend Lauren's birthday, we had a dinner party at Dominick's (party of 30...huh?) which was quite larger than we had expected but was delicious just the same. We were joined by Guys & Dolls owner Michael Sutton, quite a few models who literally talked about starving, chain-smoked, and guzzled wine (thanks for doing your part for the stereotype, girls). We then headed next door to Guys & Dolls, and I must say...I've seen a lot of gogo dancers slash strippers slash whatevers in my day, and this girl was TALENTED.

Bon Jovi from Hyde Lounge at Staples

Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros....yet again

Amazingness as always.
