The Amazingness that is Jonsi

From the pit at LA's Wiltern Theater, my friend and I witnessed yet another amazing performance by Jonsi, Sigur Ros' former frontman turned solo artist in 2010. If you don't have his album Go, I suggest you get it immediately. Your eardrums will thank you.

Miike Snow at Nokia Live

From Sylvia to A Horse is Not a Home, Miike Snow was unforgettable at Nokia Live. They are one of my favorite bands, and albums, of 2010. We were lucky too. Their second night of performing, their show was cut short by the sound going out. Whew.

A Night to Remember, If Only We Could

The night started out with celebrating Stephanie's birthday....then we hopped in a car and headed to Seth MacFarlane's party at his house. Now the creator of Family Guy always has amazing parties that my company does, but they are parties I actually will never miss as a party go-er. This one in particular was amazing.

And after, we made our own bottle service in the basement of a club. Enough said.

Strip Club Crawl

The night started off with barely being able to make it to Matt Donnelly's birthday party at the low key Surly Goat. The night ended after 7 strip clubs, a near empty bottle of Belvedere in my purse, and even worse of a hangover than I woke up with that morning. A lot of details were left out, but the 1st strip club crawl instantly became a legend.

Warpaint & The xx at the Hollywood Palladium

Experimental all girl rock band Warpaint opened for The xx at the Hollywood Palladium. Our VIP tickets were above the stage...not bad...not bad at all. Warpaint disappointingly didn't play my favorite "Billie Holiday," but The xx's sweet sexy songs rocked the stage.
