My favorite band of the last year

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Sheer brilliance. The vibe is enough to make the most pessimistic of consumers smile. The show interaction with clapping and "hey's!" are enough to make you want to jump out of your skin. And the songs are actually really great too. Amazing.

This show was my second experience with them--it is the first time I've purchased tickets and seen an entire show. Did not disappoint.

The highlight of each of their shows has to be when Alex and Jade perform "Home" and sing to each other as the song is about the moment when they fell in love (for real). Sooooo good.

Jade's unique look and voice are so captivating.

At the end, frontman Alex Ebert (formerly of Ima Robot) had everyone sit down, and he sat down with us, and sang. Loved it.

This band has touched me like no other live performance ever. I HIGHLY recommend checking out their album Up from Below and a live show if you are lucky.
